Although the images in this series look like black and white photographs, they are in fact full colour. It was the day that was black and white! Taken in Norway on a snowy day, with a grey sky, reflected in the lake and then manipulated by mirroring, there are subtle differences in each half, which you come to notice after some time. The buoys are not directly opposite to each other for example. The images are inspired by Japanese scroll paintings that present the beauty of nature in a super-wide format.
